At its pure beginning, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) aimed to spread ethics and good conduct among the people and to revive Islam, while its only project was to educate. The society in which this group appeared was not far away from this group's call. The Egyptians' values and behaviors went even beyond this call and the principles followed by non-MB members were not less strong than those of MB members. Indeed, non-members were more tolerant, modest, earnest and therefore religious. This is due to the fact that this group soon turned to politics and was therefore taken over by ambitions of power and heroism. Finally, the MB adopted the slogan "heroes against power" or "heroes coming to power". The MB has been hit by political diseases. A large part of this group started to give priority to power and worldly affairs rather than education and religious matters and they became more concerned with ballet boxes than with Muslims' affairs. Their education project collapsed under the weight of demonstrations. If I look at this, I feel great sorrow. Egypt has moved backward on everything, especially when it comes to ethics and moral, as hatred, lies and cheating are now everywhere. People have lost all values. If you just study or look carefully at their behavior in any city, street, factory, field or even in marriages and funerals, you will realize that everything that has been forbidden by God has now become a fundamental part of our lifestyle. The MB has now three million members, while five million defend them and 50 million think positively about them. Yet, the MB's ethical project has disappeared without leaving any trace. The MB has succeeded, while Egypt has failed. The MB has risen, but ethics has plunged. The MB has won seats in Parliament, while its voters have got rid of Islamic principles. The message of the MB's founder revolved on ethics and education, but now, many years on, MB's masses have neither of these values, just like their rivals.
