Maxim and Faraday
Published in Almasry Alyoum on 09 - 05 - 2009

Conceited people show off even if they are asleep or in jail. Indeed, they want everyone to be at their service.
They do not follow advices and the only way they can be treated is not by advising them to stay away from eggs, fish and crowded places, but by stopping their monstrous profits, as these profits are what leads to prodigal spending.
The media advises to stop being conceited and to accept the truce. Indeed, this is Laithy's way to solve problems.
The late Salah Laithy was a caricaturist attacked by newspapers because he made some drawings depicting immoral acts taking place in crowded places. In response to these newspapers, he gathered all the articles slamming him, drew a bus with such acts and covered the bus windows with these articles. The meaning was that the press had covered the problem.
Egypt is the country of false vanity. English scientist Michael Faraday (1791/1867) discovered the possibility of conveying electricity in 1841, and later on the Maxim restaurant was founded in France.
Today, Maxim still supplies Egyptian hotels, yet Faraday's electricity has not yet reached some Egyptian villages. In Egypt, there are those who stumble on rocks and those who stumble on a billion LE. The former ones say "Oh, my God", the others "Oh, my bank".
Those who spoke about the costs of the marriage between a businessman and a star forgot that the divorce of another businessman from another star cost double and that the dinner for this second occasion was supplied by Maxim and the electricity from Faraday.
Stop these monstrous profits in order to stop prodigal spending, as such profits can convey vanity flu. At least, please adopt Laithy's way and use my articles to cover the windows and glasses of hotels.
