Bucharest - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry delivered a speech on Tuesday morning to the annual Forum of Romanian Ambassadors abroad, as part of his current visit to the Romanian capital Bucharest, which has been the last stop of his current European tour. In the wee hours of Tuesday, Shoukry landed in Bucharest, where he delivered President Sisi's keynote message to Klaus Iohannis, president of Romania, which holds Egypt's intention to consolidate bilateral relations. The visit is also expected to witness the signing of three agreements between the two countries, relating to tourism, establishing mechanism for political dialogue and the mutual exemption of visas for diplomatic passport holders. The Minister started his speech off by praising the Egyptian-Romanian fraternal relationship, which culminated in 2017 when it had officially entered into its 102nd year. Afterwards, he gave a comprehensive presentation of the strategic vision adopted by Egyptian government with regards to its foreign policy. In the same context, the Foreign Minister pointed out to the Middle East's six-year-on dilemma, which gave rise to it being divided into two camps: the first one which seeks out change even by the dint of violence, and the second which seeks to pull us backward. Shoukry stressed that both camps are lacking objective and rational vision which resulted in inflicting the region with heavy losses.
