Sinai (Egypt) - Endowments Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said Egypt has rare potentials that serve religious tourism industry. Attending the first meeting of the higher organizing committee of a conference on Sinai as a capital of religious tourism, Gomaa said the conference is aimed at sending a message to the world that Sinai enjoys stability and security. He added that all national actors and institutions will work extensively on developing Sinai's religious tourism; because of its religious and historical values. Sinai is a major center for all religions; as it includes the Sacred Valley Tuwa, Saint Catherine's Monastery, and Mount Sinai, which means that it is the land of peace and platform of revelation and the intersection of religions, Gomaa added. The conference is planned to be held on September 28 in Sharm El Sheikh and Saint Catherine.
