Cairo - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, on Sunday, made a phone call with his Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim Jaafari, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said in a statement. The two ministers reviewed bilateral relations and regional developments, he added. Shoukry congratulated Jaafari on victories achieved in Iraq's war to uproot ISIS terrorists in Mosul city, stressing Egypt's firm commitment to stand by Iraq in its battle to defeat terrorism as part of Cairo's efforts to regionally combat terrorism, the spokesman said. For his part, Jaafari offered condolences over the victims of a recent Sinai terrorist attack, he added.
