Cairo - Egypt, on Saturday, condemned with the strongest words two terrorist attacks in eastern Saudi Arabia that left a Saudi security man dead and several others wounded. The Foreign Ministry, in a released statement, asserted Egypt's support for Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism and its efforts to thwart any plan that is aimed at undermining the safety and security of the Saudi people. Egypt also extended condolences to the Saudi government and people over the victim of the attack and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The statement renewed Egypt's stance against all forms of terrorism and violence and underlined the necessity of enhancing efforts of the international community to fight terrorism. Egypt's Grand Mufti Shawki Allam strongly condemned the attack, stressing that terrorism has become a threat to everyone, which necessitates joining forces and at all levels to confront this danger.
