Published in Albawaba on 02 - 07 - 2017

Cairo - President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will head for Budapest on Sunday on an official state to Hungary to attend an extraordinary summit of the Visegrad Group with Egypt.
Also known as Visegrad Four, the gathering, which groups Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic, is together the fifth economy in Europe and the 12th in the world.
The president is scheduled to have meetings during the visit with top officials in Hungary including President Janos Ader, Prime Minister Viktor Orban and the parliament's speaker Laszlo Kover, said presidential spokesman Alaa Yousef.
The planned talks will mull ways to continue cooperation between Egypt and Hungary in all fields as well as steps taken to implement agreements reached during mutual visits over the past two years to promote the bilateral relations, said the spokesman.
Regional and international issues of mutual concern will figure high during the meetings, he added.
While there, Sisi will also attend a meeting of the Egypt-Hungary businessmen forum with presence of representatives of companies and the private sector from both countries to probe ways to promote commercial and economic cooperation and to review available investment opportunities in Egypt.
The presidential spokesman highlighted the importance of the Visegrad summit with Cairo as Egypt is the third country, after Japan and Germany, to have such a conference with the bloc.
"The summit shows keenness of both sides to promote ties and discuss issues of mutual concern," said Yousef, citing that the agenda of the meeting include Egypt's role in the Middle East, counter-terrorism efforts, illegal immigration and energy security.
