Paris- In a symbolic gesture, the Eiffel Tower is set to turn its lights off in support of Egypt and its Coptic community, after ISIS gunmen shot dead 29 people and injured scores of others in the province of Minya in Egypt. Paris Mayor, Anne Hidalgo, made the announcement on Friday night from her twitter account, as reported by Efe news. The last time the Eiffel Tower made a symbolic blackout of the structure was just days ago on May 23, 2017 after the UK attack in Manchester, when a suicide bomber blew himself up at the end of a pop concert, killing 22 people.
