Cairo - Maher Farghaly, researcher in Islamic movements said that the terrorist groups belonging to ISIS entered Egypt through Libya using sport utility vehicles, via the mountainous unpaved roads in the west of Egypt. Hence, the Egyptian military must discover and surround these roads as well as monitor any terrorists entering the country. In an interview with Extra News Channel, Farghaly pointed out that the situation is very disconcerting and that security forces should be more vigilant because the terrorist groups have future plans to try and fool Egyptian security forces.
He added that Sudan has become a haven that houses terrorism since it receives young generations of Muslim Brotherhood members and/or supporters who escape the grip of Egyptian security forces. Farghaly explained that Sudan hosts a lot of fugitives from the Muslim Brotherhood who undergo training in Sudanese mountainous areas and return to Egypt to carry out terrorist operations.
