The United Nations Security Council condemned in the strongest possible terms the terrorist attacks targeted two Egyptian churches on Sunday, describing the bombings as "heinous" and "cowardly". The Security Council extended its condolences to the families of victims, wishing the injured quick recovery. "Terrorism in all its forms represents one of most dangerous threats to international peace and security," the statement reads. Members of UN Security Council stressed on the necessity to bring the terrorists and their financiers to justice, urging all countries to assist Egyptian government in counter-terrorism, stemmed out of their commitment to international law and resolutions of the security council concerning this issue. Egypt has witnessed two deadly attacks targeting two churches in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, and Tanta in Nile Delta, leaving 44 killed and 126 others injured.
