Amman - Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left for Amman on Sunday to take part in preparatory meetings of the 28th Arab summit that will kick off in the Dead Sea area later this week. The meetings will discuss the recent developments in the Palestinian territories, the Yemeni and Syrian crises, the situation in Libya and the files of Iraq and Somalia along with anti-terrorism efforts, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid said. The ministers will also review Arab national security, inter-Arab relations, reforming the Arab League and outlining an Arab vision to free the Middle East from weapons of mass destruction. Shoukry will take part in a session on Syria with UN envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura attending.
