Cairo - Earlier today, Engineer 'Nadia Abdou' sworn the constitutional oath to be the governor of Al-Buhaira (Beheira Governorate). She is now the first woman in Egypt's history to hold such high position. She was the first woman to hold the post of deputy governor before, and the first woman to hold the post of chairperson of the national water company in Alexandria (Northern Egypt). Behera is a coastal governorate in Egypt. Located in the northern part of the country in the Nile Delta, its capital is Damanhur.
