At least 13 militants were killed in Egyptian air strikes in Sinai Peninsula late Sunday. The terrorist element targeted by the attack belong to what is called Islamic State (IS)-affiliated "Sinai Province". The killed including a high commander in air strikes south al-Arich, specifically in al-Dahshya & Abu Tabl areas, according to security sources and an activist's post on Twitter. Mainwhile, reports of Casualties from North Sinai security forces ranks in IED blast in West of Al-Arish, the capital city of Northern Sinai. Apache helicopter gunships raided hideouts of alleged militants in southern Arish city in northern Sinai, the source said anonymously because he was unauthorized to speak to media. The attack injured 10 other militants and destroyed a number of motorbikes and vehicles used by the militants, the source said. Earlier Sunday, a roadside bomb killed a policeman and injured an army soldier in Arish.
