Lebanon's Interior Ministry has released statistics showing the number of voter turnout in the first stage of the country's municipal elections. Just over 15 percent of eligible voters have so far cast a ballot in the capital.
The voter turnout so far in Lebanon polls till noon: Beirut 15%, Zahle 35.6%, Rashaya 31%, West Bekaa 26.5%, Baalbek 37%, Hermel 35%.
