Islamic states vow to defeat terrorism, extremism
Foreign ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) pledged here on Tuesday to defeat terrorism and extremism.
"We will continue to fight against force of darkness and extremism that misrepresent the real teaching of Islam, which is based on tolerance," Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry said in his opening speech at a meeting with his counterparts from other OIC member states.
In his view, the Islamic world is in need of moderation and an integrated strategy for an effective struggle against terrorism and extremism.
Shoukry also appealed for a dialogue among civilizations and religions to overcome the challenges facing the region.

Egypt to get $120m UNDP aid for youth's SMEs
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will provide Egypt with $120 million (1$=8.87EGP) in aid for youth's small and medium enterprises (SMEs), announced Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahr Nasr in a statement on Tuesday.The aid comes in light of the program's enhancing to Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi's initiative for youth, the statement added.
Nasr will chair an Egyptian delegation in Washington to hold meetings with the World Bank representatives to discuss financial solutions to Egypt's challenges.
