Court sentences 15 defendants to life in prison in "Maasara Cell" trial

Cairo Criminal Court sentenced 15 elements of the banned Muslim Brotherhood (MB) to life in prison, and acquitted the 16th defendant, in the case publicly known as "Maasara Cell," on Saturday, al-Bawaba News reported.
The defendants face accusations of joining a banned group, preventing state's authorities from practicing their duties, possessing unlicensed weapons, and assaulting the freedoms of citizens.
