Court resumes trial of 372 MBs over storming police station

Minya Criminal Court resumes Sunday retrial of 372 elements related to the banned Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in storming Matay police station, southern Egypt, Al Bawaba news reported.
Earlier in 2014 court sentenced 37 to death while 335 were sentenced to life in prison over accusations of storming Matay police station, murdering its deputy chief following the dispersal of Rabaa sit-in, Aug.2013.
The Court of Cassation decided to retry the defendants after they have filed an appeal which was approved by general prosecution.
