Alexandria Port authority (APA) spokesperson, Reda Al-Ghandour revealed on Thursday that marine traffic resumed after a wave of bad weather, Al-Bawaba News reported. "Straits of Alexandria and Dekheila resumed their functions," Ghandour said, explaining that 40 ships were stranded at the outer anchorage before the port's resumption. Head of APA, Medhat Atteya stressed on the coordination between entities of concern to ease entrance and departure of ships in order to check quality of shipments.
