Egypt's role is important for the region as a whole, Turkey's FM

Egypt's participation in the meeting of Islamic Cooperation Organization in Istanbul should be understood as a participation in an international meeting, said Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Thursday.
He added, in a press statement, "We met with the Egyptian officials many times in international forums not on the bilateral level."
He added that Turkey wants a strong Egypt as the Egyptian role is important for the region as whole.
