Egyptian ministry of foreign affairs issued Monday a statement sending its sincere congratulations to newly elected President of Central Africa Republic, Faustin Archange Touadéra for becoming new president, Al Bawaba News reported. Touadéra won the second round of the presidential elections, which were held on February 14. The ministry also congratulated the people of Central Africa Republic for holding the elections in a peaceful atmosphere,. Egypt stressed on its support for the newly elected president in his efforts to complete the establishment of state institutions and to achieve national reconciliation, as well as meet the aspirations of his people, by achieving economic and social development.
