The Syrian army has destroyed at least 100 Daesh terrorists militants in the past 24 hours in the east of the country, local media reported Sunday. According to the state SANA news agency, the terrorists were destroyed in the Deir ez-Zor province. The Deir ez-Zor province has been besieged by Daesh terrorists. In January, local residents in the besieged province told Sputnik that 280 people, including women, children and the elderly, had been killed for cooperating with the Syrian army. On Friday, a Syrian military source told RIA Novosti that over 25 Daesh fighters had been killed in Deir ez-Zor. On Thursday, a new batch of humanitarian aid prepared jointly by Russia and Syria was delivered to the Syrian city of Deir el-Zour, besieged by Daesh militants.
