Planning Min. denies resignation following Civil Service Law rejection

Egypt's minister of planning Ashraf Araby denied on Thursday media reports on his resignation following the parliamentary rejection of the Civil Service Law, Yum 7 reported.
Mr. Araby said the national strategy for the sustainable development till 2030 would be launched Jan. 28.
He added he would hold a number of meetings with officials to discuss repercussions over the negative effects of the suspension of the law.
The law was rejected with a majority of 332 votes while seven MPs abstained.
