Renaissance Dam tripartite meeting to discuss Egypt's request

Renaissance Technical Committee will meet Wednesday in Addis Ababa to discuss Egypt's request to increase the dam's number to 4 slots to increase water flow to Egypt and Sudan, Al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday.
Minister of Irrigation, Hossam Moghazy stated to Al-Bawaba News that the meeting will be between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia on a technical expert level, and with the participation of the Italian consult company implementing the dam to study Egypt's request.
The meeting will discuss the Egyptian and Ethiopian technical studies, and write a report to present it to the six-party commission, on 1 February in Khartoum.
