Egypt's Democratic Generation Party, Nagy Al-Shehaby said that he hoped that President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will appoint a number of leftist figures in the parliament due to their weak representation, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. He commented on the president's nominating of 28 MPs saying that this step came in accordance with the 2014 Constitution, pointing out that previous constitutions had allowed only 10 MPs to be appointed by the president. Al-Shehaby added that the most necessary laws to be discussed by the parliament would be related to the terms of parliament's speaker and his deputies.
