Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) issued Tuesday a statement, denying existence of an agreement with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on acquiring value of exports by Egyptian pound, Al Bawaba News reported. News has circulated about the FEI reaching an agreement with CBE to acquire value of exports by Egyptian pound, for exchange of abolishing the maximum deposit by US dollar. However, the FEI has denied such an agreement, saying that there was no truth whatsoever to the existence of such an agreement with CBE and the ministry of industry. The FEI has confirmed that such agreement has not been discussed and was not related to reality. The statement has pointed out to the full cooperation with the CBE to provide the required currency to import goods for industry and production requirements, as well as provide currency for the release of all imports of industrial raw materials from the Egyptian ports.
