Continuing its policy of Judaising occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli regime has removed a sign reading "There is no God but God" in Arabic from a traditional market. Palestinians say the removal proves that the regime is trying to erase all Palestinian and Muslim identity from the holy city. "This racist and provocative move is a message to Palestinians," Mazen Abu Qalbain, an activist in occupied east Jerusalem said. Arabic signs in occupied Jerusalem are then replaced with signs in Hebrew. Palestinian shop keepers in Al Musrara market could be penalised for taking the signs down. The Israeli regime did not provide an official explanation for the removal of the sign in Arabic. Abu Qalbain said that the Israeli regime intends to completely Judaise Al Musrara. The removal of the sign is seen as just the first step.
