Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi will travel to Paris on Monday to participate in the inauguration session of UN Climate Summit, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday. Egyptian presidency spokesperson, Alaa Yousef said Al-Sisi will head the African delegation to the summit and deliver a speech on behalf of African nations about the black continent's concept regarding the issues of climate. It is scheduled for Al-Sisi to discuss with heads of African nations the challenges and solutions for climate change in addition to boosting reliance on renewable energy resources. Al-Sisi, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and French President François Hollande are scheduled to hold a minor meeting on the sideline of the summit. The leaders of 147 countries started gathering in Paris for a 12-day diplomatic marathon aimed at producing a global agreement that can stave off catastrophic climate change.
