South Upper Egypt's tourism adviser in the Room of tourism companies, Tharwat Agamy stated to Youm7 that the rate of the British tourists booking to the city of Luxor has increased and will continue to grow in the upcoming period, with the hotels current residents amounting to 930 tourists. Agamy calls for the Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zazou to meet with the Minister of Civil Aviation, Hossam Kamal to discuss creating a London-Luxor–Cairo line, to double Britain transportation. He stated that the number of flights coming from Germany to the city of Luxor will increase to 5 flights weekly, instead of four starting from the next week, and that the flash tour company had succeeded in attracting the Ukrainian tourists to sightseeing in the city of Luxor. "Luxor receives weekly three flights from Britain, while Egypt Air weekly conducts a flight from London, while Thomson Company operates two flights weekly," Agamy added.
