Several international delegations arrived Saturday in Cairo to monitor parliamentary elections' second phase, which will be held on Nov. 22 and 23 in 13 governorates, Sada El Balad News reported. Diplomatic sources, who spoke to Sada El Balad on condition of anonymity, said that the delegations are from Uruguay, African Union, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Zimbabwe and Cameroon. Nearly 17 thousand judges will supervise the electoral process of parliamentary elections' second phase. Electronic gates and explosives detectors have been installed at poll stations as part of the security measures taken to secure the electoral process. More than 160 thousand conscripts have been deployed all over the 13 governorates, which will witness the second phase of the parliamentary elections to secure poll stations. The governorates include Cairo, Qaliubiya, Dakahlia, Menoufia, Gharbia, Kafr El Sheikh, Al Sharqia, Damietta, Port Said, Ismailia, Suez, North Sinai and South Sinai governorates.
