Only three days before the electoral silence of Egypt's second phase of 2015 parliamentary elections, different electoral alliances accelerate their election promotion campaigns across the country by holding public conferences. The Republican Alliance of Social Forces held a large public conference in Al-Menufiya governorate in the attendance of the heads of local trade unions and the head of Egyptian Sufi Groups Union, Alaa Abu Al-Aza'em, who refuted all the accusations claimed by "For the Love of Egypt" electoral list that the Republican Alliance is funded by Iran. The alliance will hold its last conference in Al-Qaliubiya to motivate Egyptian voters to cast their ballots in the upcoming elections. The Independence Current and the Egyptian Front electoral alliance, in turn, will hold its last conference in Cairo after multiple events and tours in Al-Qaliubiya, Al-Menufiya and Al-Daqahleya. On the other hand, "For the Love of Egypt" electoral list exerted its efforts this week by holding five public conference in different governorates, in the attendance of Sameh Seif Al-Yazal, the leader of the list, as well as other major candidates of the list. The second phase of elections is scheduled for mid-November in the governorates of Cairo, Daqahleya, Damietta, Gharbeya, Ismailia, Kafr Al-Sheikh, Al-Menufiya, North Sinai, South Sinai, Sharqeya, Suez and Al-Qaliubiya. The first phase included 14 governorates in Egypt, and concluded in October with a participation turnout of 26.5% in the first round and 21.7% in runoff elections, according to the High Election Committee (HEC).
