Egypt's Interior Ministry denied the reports released by Reuters claiming that two employees of Sharm al-Sheikh Airport have been detained in connection with the Russian plane crash on Oct. 31 that killed 224 people on board, Youm7 news reported. The statement was issued few minutes after the Reuters allegations, asserting that the news are totally false. Reuters claimed that "Seventeen people are being held, two of them are suspected of helping whoever planted the bomb on the plane at Sharm al-Sheikh airport," according to one of Egyptian officials. Russian Security Service (FSB) head, Alexander Bortnikov, said Tuesday that an explosion of the homemade bomb of up to 1kg of TNT equivalent was the cause of the A321 crash in Sinai, with no confirmation from Egypt to the claims, saying it wants to wait until all investigations are complete.
