Russia's State Aviation Authority has banned Egypt's state-owned airline "EgyptAir" from Nov. 14, an official of Moscow's Domodedovo airport said on Friday, Russia Today reported. Egyptian aviation officials said Russian authorities had not officially informed Cairo of the decision. The move comes after flights from Russia to Egypt were already suspended in the wake of the A321 passenger plane crash in Sinai last month. The Airbus A321 plane crashed on its way from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to the Russian city of St. Petersburg on October 31. All 224 people on board, including the plane crew, were killed.
