Prime Minister, Sharif Ismail met Tuesday with Tajikistan's Ambassador in Cairo to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries, Al-Bawaba News reported. The cabinet spokesperson, Hossam El-Kawish said that Ismail affirmed the strength of relations between the two sides and the importance of boosting cooperation in various sectors. The prime minister stressed on the importance of exchanging visits between officials of the two countries, signaling the visit of Tajikistan's businessmen delegation to Egypt in order to discuss investment opportunities in the tourism and industrial sectors. Ismail highlighted Egypt's efforts in countering terrorism and extremism, which threaten the region, calling for international cooperation to eliminate them. For his part, the Tajikistani Ambassador expressed his country is really looking forward for President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi's visit very soon.
