Sources revealed that Minister of Education, Helaly Sherbiny received a letter from the Cabinet that calls the Ministry to deliver schools textbooks to the educational directorates, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. The cabinet said in the letter that the usage of alternative educational textbooks increased in the past five years to reach 85%, pointing out that high school students were the most students to use alternative textbooks. The sources added that the letter pointed out that the rate of alternative books usage in preparatory level increased to 80% and in the primary level reached 75%, confirming that the Cabinet demanded education minister to resolve textbooks printing issue.
