Under auspices of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, an international economic conference has been launched Saturday in the northwestern province of Marsa Matruh, al-Bawaba News reported. Governor of Marsa Matrouh, Alaa Abu Zeid told reporters that the conference is of great importance to the governorate in particular and to Egypt in general, pointing out that contracts will be signed during the conference, which witnessed the participation of several businessmen, including Egyptians, Arabs and foreigners. Abu Zeid revealed that the conference will witness the signing of agreements regarding several touristic projects, including the developing of Ageba Hill with $ 3 billion investment, and a $ 4 billion investment for developing Rommel area. Furthermore, he added that the conference will also witness the signing of agreements regarding several industrial projects, which will be worth $ 5 billion. The governor stressed that all businessmen attending the conference will have the chance to learn about the eligible areas of agricultural, industrial and tourism investment in the governorate.
