Army destroys Hamas' biggest tunnel on border with Gaza

Egyptian army destroyed Tuesday a tunnel related to Palestinian Hamas movement on North Sinai's Rafah border with Gaza, according to the security forces.
The sources told Al Bawaba News that this tunnel is considered the biggest tunnel used by Hamas military wing Al-Qassam Brigades to smuggle weapons inside Sinai.
The sources pointed out that weapons, communications devices, yachts motors, boats and diving equipment and explosives materials were found inside the tunnel.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
