Palestinian killed after attack on Israeli police

A Palestinian man was shot dead after he allegedly stabbed an Israeli policeman at an entrance to Jerusalem's Old City on Monday, Israeli police said.
The incident is the latest in a wave of knife attacks.
The police officer's protective vest stopped the knife and he was unharmed, according to Agence France-Presse. The attacker was shot dead by other officers.
