Prime Minister, Sherif Ismail met with Tunisian President, Beji Caid Essebsi in presidential palace to discuss mutual cooperation between both countries, Al Bawaba News reported Monday. The meeting tackled the means to activate the joint agreements and memorandum of understanding between the two countries. The two sides also discussed the ways to develop mutual cooperation and bilateral ties. Ismail explained in a statement that the meeting discussed the different agreements in various fields and sectors in industry, commerce, culture, health and business. He pointed out that there is coordination and cooperation in security between the two countries to combat terrorism, especially in Libya. The prime minister highlighted the Tunisian investments in Egypt, adding that they are currently limited to the petroleum field, while it is expected to be increased and diversified during the coming period.
