On behalf of the Ministry of Finance, the Central Egyptian Bank (CBE) is offering treasury bills with a total value of EGP7 billion, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The value of the very first treasury bills for 91 days is estimated to be EGP2.5 billion and other bills worth EGP4.5 billion for 273 days. The state budget deficit value is expected to reach EGP240 billion by the very end of the current fiscal year; it'll be funded by the central bank to put up bills and treasury bonds, government debt tools, on behalf of the ministry of finance.
