Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Kabil met Friday with the Secretary General of Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Sindiso Ngwenya in Cairo to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides, Al Bawaba News reported. Kabil stressed on Egypt's keenness to cooperate with COMESA in order to establish a common market due to be discussed during COMESA next meeting in November. The minister praised the coordination and cooperation between the Egyptian authorities and COMESA which resulted in solving the problems facing the Egyptian exports to the Kenyan market, especially sugar and electronic products.
