Elections monitoring mission will continue to follow up on the upcoming parliamentary elections by placing 328 of its members in 164 constituencies across Egypt, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. The mission monitors the election campaigns by the large number of candidates running for the parliament in various constituencies. It has recorded a number of violations, including early the kick-off of election campaigns of some candidates in their constituencies. The High Elections Committee (HEC) has yet to give permission for candidates to kick-start their election campaigns and has previously warned against any violations to the elections, especially bribery.
