Head of Egyptian center for women's rights, Nihad Abu Al Komsan said Friday in a statement to Al Bawaba News that the center held four training sessions for potential female candidates for the upcoming parliamentary elections. Abu Al Komsan stressed that the center had trained 100 women to enter the next parliament, pointing out that the training included the participation of women from 25 governorates across Egypt. She explained that the training included political programs that support and rehabilitate women as candidates, as the program aimed to increase women's political participation, especially in positions of leadership and decision-making. She revealed that the center has trained 21 women from 21 political parties and women running for the elections as independents.
