The Egyptian stock exchange ended trading positively on Thursday, supported by purchases from Arab and foreign investors, Al-Bawaba News reported. The market capital gained EGP5.6bn to reach a total of EGP450.96bn amid transaction processes estimated at EGP800m. The benchmark index EGX30 added a slight 2.03 percent to reach 7295.96 points while the small and mid-cap EGX70 rose by 1.79 percent to record 394.85 points. The broader EGX100 index reached 846.3 points for an estimated 1.39 percent rise.
