The Egyptian stock exchange ended trading positively on Monday, supported by purchases from Arab, Egyptian individual and foreign investments, while Egyptian associations tended to sell. The market capital gained EGP 7 billion to reach a total of EGP 538.7 billion amid transaction processes estimated at EGP568.2 million. The benchmark index EGX30 added a slight 0.52 percent to reach 9830.46 points while the small and mid-cap EGX70 rose by 0.77 percent to record 578.39 points. The broader EGX100 index reached 1145.3 points for an estimated 0.56 percent rise.
