Suez Canal Area Development Project will depend on desalinated sea water not to pressure the state's network of drinking water, said Egypt's Minister of Irrigation Hossam Moghazi. He added, in a statement to Al Bawaba News on Monday, that a Singaporean company will desalinate 100 cubic meters of sea water per day according to the protocol signed between the Singaporean company and Egypt's Suez Canal Authority. Furthermore, he noted that the company will also establish a power plant for generating electricity, especially for that project.
