High Elections Committee (HEC) confirmed Monday that all primary courts are ready and willing to receive candidates' requests to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections, Al Bawaba News reported. HEC said in a statement that it has asked and coordinated with the Ministry of Interior and armed forces to secure the primary courts, including judges and employees during the period of receiving candidacy requests. The statement read that each security directorate will secure the primary courts within the scope of the governorate. Also, the HEC has coordinated with the Ministry of Justice to prepare a court hall in each primary court for receiving candidacy requests, according to the statement. In addition to, direct communication lines between electoral committees of the primary courts and HEC in order to learn the number of candidates and remove any obstacles that may surface concerning the required papers and documents.
