The Egyptian Consulate in Shanghai ended ,Monday ,the Egyptian cultural and tourism event launched on Friday to promote Egypt's tourism, Al Bawaba News reported on Monday. The event was attended by a large number of Chinese and foreign residents of the Shanghai. Egyptian Ambassador Khaled Youssef delivered a speech during a closing ceremony expressing his appreciation to the Ministry of Culture and those who sponsored the event. The ambassador signaled that the event aimed to give a brief overview of the culture and arts, tourist sites and the Egyptian archaeological sites. He expressed his hope that such events could push the Chinese people to visit Egypt.
