Egypt's High Election Committee (HEC) held its first meeting, on Sunday, to discuss five important decision to be released before announcing the final schedule of parliamentary elections, Al-Bawaba News reported Tuesday. "HEC has finished forming the five decisions, and they will be published in the official newspaper, and the committee will announce the final schedule of elections in a press conference next week," a judicial source told Al-Bawaba . The awaited decisions, include forming commissions to examine the candidacy applications, forming commissions for governorate elections within the parliamentary elections, medical examination for potential candidates, organizing the work of media, and foreign and local civil society organizations, and lastly announcing the date of poll for both electoral stages," the source added.
