Egyptian high level officials said president Abdel Fattal al-Sisi held several meetings Saturday with ministers and specialists to pursue the implementations of developmental projects in the Suez Canal area, al-Bawaba News reported. During the official inauguration of the New Suez Canal held on Thursday, al-Sisi gave orders to launch national projects in Ismailia, Kantara and al-Ein al-Sokhna, eastern the country. The projects seek to establish a world economic region including the establishment of logistics and new cities and ports. Large numbers of world leaders attended the lavish ceremony.
