Egyptian Natural Gas Holding (EGAS) official said Monday that Norwegian BW Gas company won a tender to supply Egypt with a floating vessel to receive liquefied natural gas (LNG) in order to convert it to natural gas, Al Bawaba News reported. Egypt aims to rent the floating vessel to provide homes and factories with electricity and gas as the country relies on gas in its power plants. EGAS official said that the contract will continue for five years to provide 750 million cubic feet per day of gas.
